South Haven, Lake Michigan, and visit from Doug and Moira

So, my brother and his wife were basically in town for 50 hours total...yikes!  We had to make the best of the few hours we had.....and what better place than Lake Michigan to cool off while Plainwell baked with a heat index of 119*!!!  My mom, Gary, and his son, Aaron, and his 3 kids from Colorado joined us as well!  It was refreshing, fun, relaxing, cool, HOT, and fun!  Again, the girls were mostly fearless (which makes me very fearful!), and they had an absolute blast.  Makayla rolled, and rolled in the sand, while Lydia practiced being a fish!

She absolutely loved the sand and water!

It may not look like it, but she was laughing so hard here!

Gun Lake Fun

The girls and I had so much fun up on Gun Lake with some friends of
ours! The setting was 100+ degrees, lots of sun, lots of shade,
lots of water, and lots of fun!  Lydia and Makayla...unfortunately...
are fearless of the water. They both had an amazing time playing
with friends, jumping off the dock, and swimming all day long!

Binder Park Zoo

We braved the heat and humidity today to go to the zoo. Lydia has been asking every single day to go see the giraffes, zebras, and crocadiles.  Binder doesn't have crocs, but the other two she was very excited about.  Makayla enjoyed looking at the animals as well, and always wanted to be included!

Lydia thought the praire dogs were "the cutest things ever."

Lydia fed the giraffe (but only once...kinda scary with those long blue tongues!)

While Makayla slept through Wild Africa!

WMU Graduation

Saturday June 30, 2012 I finally graduated from
WMU with my bachelors in Social Work.
Please pray for me now that I may find a job!!!

 My 3 favorite guys! ;)

I am quite certain he kept me grounded through these
last few years.  Along with a little mocking when I got mad
when I missed 1/2 a point on a paper! lol

My mom was, of course, another great supporter!
Thank you a million times!

And these two beauties were the best inspiration of all...
this degree is completely and wholy dedicated to them!
I love you more than you'll ever know,
Lydia and Makayla (and future son)!
