June fun

Playing in L's new tent.  I love the moments when they are
playing together and you can feel the love
they already have for eachother! :)

Of course we had to sleep in our tent at least one night!

We also made some homemade bird feeders......

NO!  It's for the birds!

Dad found a giant turtle.

This facial expression is one we see often.
It seriously cracks me up, I just know she's thinking,
"Oh, mom, you have no idea what I'm about to do!"

It was ridiculously hot earlier this week, so some fun in the
pool was the only way to play outside
(there may have been a moment I dipped in too!).

An actual House update...instead of kids!

We have done a ton of stuff since I last posted a house update.  Unfortunately, I feel most of it is pretty boring!  So, here are a few pictures of the more "exciting" things we've done. Not pictured would be projects like cleaning up the yard, removing weeds/underbrush, preping an area for a little patio out back, and general upkeep for stuff that wasn't kept up before we moved in last fall.

These lights are above the future breakfast bar in the kitchen
(besides tile, the only part of the kitchen that is unfinished).
I sort of love these globes!!

Stair banister and "mudroom".  The mudroom is more like a little
mud-area to remove shoes/hang jackets.
The banister however is awesome.  Not sure if you can tell from
the pictures, but it's wrought iron and looks amazing!  Joel does such a great job!

Most of the windows are finally trimmed, this is the final look!

Lydia's 3rd Birthday Party

Lydia had a super fun time at her party this weekend.  Thank you to all of you who made it out to help her celebrate!  She made out with some pretty great gifts, and had a blast with her friends and cousins!

Ice cream sundae toppings

Joel paused all the gift opening to share this book with Lydia!
I guess he likes Princess books too!

Lydia thought us singing Happy Birthday to her was halarious!

This may be one of my favs....every now and then that baby face still shows through.
She's not all grown up just yet :)

Grandpa Webster got Lydia this cool Hello Kitty Tent and sleeping bag.
And yes, even mom and dad crawled in to play too!
